Terms and Conditions
These terms govern purchases made on the KEMET home textiles shop at kemetuk.com, operated by KEMET for Trading Ltd (Company No. 16621098, VAT No. GB 517043221), 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ (“KEMET”, “we”, “us”).
1. Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order, for example in the event of a pricing or stock error, in which case we will notify you and issue a full refund.
2. Pricing and payment
All prices are set in pounds sterling (GBP, £) and shown including UK VAT. UK orders with goods up to £135 include UK VAT at checkout. For UK orders over £135, and for all orders delivered outside the UK, UK VAT is not charged at checkout; any VAT, import taxes, customs duties and carrier clearance fees due in the destination country are collected on delivery and are payable by the recipient. Depending on your location, prices may be displayed in your local currency, using exchange rates and rounding applied automatically, so the converted amount may differ slightly from the sterling price. The amount and currency shown at checkout are what you will be charged. Your card issuer may apply its own exchange rate or fees. Payment is taken securely at checkout.
3. Shipping
We deliver to the UK and the EU. The delivery charge is calculated at checkout from your order and shown before you pay. Estimated delivery times are confirmed in your order confirmation email and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Full details are on our Shipping and Delivery page.
Prices and VAT

4. Personalisation
Personalised or embroidered items are made to order once payment is confirmed. Please double-check any name, initials or text you provide — we cannot amend personalised text once production has started. Personalisation is free on every order.
5. Discounts and promotions
Discounts cannot be combined with any other offer. Items already on a promotional or sale price are not eligible for further discount codes, membership discounts, or quantity discounts.

7. Product descriptions and images
We make every effort to describe and display our products accurately. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen. for applicable products.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Subject to that, our liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
