Operational Discipline
We view sustainability as a discipline embedded in how we source and trade, not as a separate initiative. Our choices reflect what we believe produces better products and more reliable supply chains.
Active Practices
- We maintain long-term relationships with suppliers, reducing supply chain volatility and enabling consistent quality standards.
- We prioritise suppliers with transparent production processes and traceable material origins, from source to finished product.
- We limit our product range to reduce waste in inventory and overproduction, focusing on items that meet our standards.
- We favour natural materials and prioritise mechanical refinement over chemical alteration where possible.
Strategic Exclusions
- We do not pursue rapid growth that would compromise supplier relationships or product consistency.
- We avoid certifications that require compliance fees but lack meaningful oversight or operational reality.
- We do not claim carbon neutrality or net-zero targets without internal, verified measurement systems in place.
- For selected core natural-fibre textile ranges, we do not use synthetic blends, opting for pure fibres that offer superior longevity and biodegradability.
Continuous Review
Sustainability is integrated into our supplier selection and quality control processes. We review our practices regularly and adjust based on operational experience rather than external trends. This is an ongoing discipline, not a finished achievement.
Responsible Supply, With Evidence
Every practice described on this page is something we can speak to directly, not a marketing claim in isolation. Where a claim relates to a specific certification or standard, the supporting documentation is available on request. We would rather describe fewer practices accurately than list more than we can evidence. View our certifications.
