Certifications & Compliance

Hotel textile certifications

Proof Behind Every Specification

Hotel textile certifications are the fastest way for a procurement team to verify what it is buying. Every KEMET range comes with documents you can check, not claims you have to take on trust.

Documentation should not be something you chase after the order. It should be part of the supply process.

Hotel textile certifications: Uncompromising Standards

We partner with global authorities to ensure every product meets the highest standards of quality, authenticity, and ethical manufacturing. Your trust is backed by verifiable data. The certifications below are applied per product category and manufacturing partner, and certificates are available on request for the applicable range.

✓

EUR.1 Movement Certificate

Applied to qualifying shipments and trade routes, ensuring preferential origin status and compliance with international trade agreements.

✓

Egyptian Cotton DNA Certification

Scientific verification of authentic Egyptian cotton through advanced DNA analysis, available for applicable cotton textile ranges.

✓

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100

Available for applicable textile ranges, certified free from harmful substances, ensuring safety for human health.

✓

ISO 9001:2015

Held by our certified manufacturing partner for applicable production, an internationally recognised Quality Management System certification.

✓

CNAS Accreditation

CNAS-accredited testing available via our accredited testing partner for applicable product categories.

Hotel Textile Certifications We Document

Our hotel textile certifications cover the full range. Egyptian cotton towels and linen are supported by EUR1 origin documentation and DNA cotton verification at fibre level. Portuguese and Chinese ranges are supported by OEKO-TEX Standard 100 testing for harmful substances. Our Turkish range is produced by a manufacturing partner operating to ISO 9001 and carries a written 300-wash durability warranty.

How to Check Hotel Textile Certifications

Ask for the document, not the badge. An OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certificate carries a number that can be verified with the issuing body, and ISO 9001 is awarded by accredited certification bodies. We send the relevant certificates with the quotation so purchasing, housekeeping and compliance teams can review them before any order is placed. Read the official OEKO-TEX Standard 100 overview and the ISO 9001 explanation to see what each one proves.
